The goals of the Drama Ministry at Union United Methodist Church are to glorify God, to grow closer to Christ through service, to develop and use acting talents given by God to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to share with our congregation the messages and truths we find in God’s Word.
We explore various ways to present the messages: choral reading, readers theater, monologues, duets, and small ensembles. We have presented dramas for church dinners, Mother-Daughter Banquet, Maundy Thursday and Christmas, as well as programs for smaller groups within the church.
The Drama Ministry periodically presents acting scenes at the Crosswalk service at 11:00. Annually the Drama Ministry presents a full length drama for Maundy Thursday.
