Visit Union’s new Meditation Garden dedicated to Chaplain Earl Stover.
Our garden provides a place of beauty and quietness for prayer, relaxation and meditation. It is good to link God’s beautiful earth with our spiritual life.
- The cross symbolizes the sacrifice of Jesus
- The circle symbolizes eternal life
- The three sidewalks and benches symbolize the Trinity
- The long sidewalk symbolizes our journey to eternal life
Jesus often went to a garden for respite and to pray to his father. We pray that all who come here will find rest and renewal for their life’s journey. “You will be like a garden that has plenty of water or like a stream that never runs dry.” Isaiah 58:11.
