The Junior High School Class usually begins with prayer and time for youth to discuss how their week went. Then we begin to discuss the topic of the week. Read more…

Senior High School Class, the students discuss issues among the group that affect their life. They are also given tools to apply their Christian values to daily struggles. Read more…

Children

Union UMC offers Christian education classes for children preschool to 6th grade. Classes meet on the Balcony Level of the main church building. Read more…

The Preschool Class, children are taught Bible stories using the Cokesbury Sunday School Curriculum. The children are also taught to love to come to Sunday School. At preschool age, the children may not retain all of the details of the Bible stories introduced to them, but they will retain the joy of learning about God’s love. Read more…

The Kindergarten Class learns about wonderful stories from the Bible: The birth of Jesus; Jesus’ Life; The Beatitudes; The Lord’s Prayer; Noah’s Ark, Moses and the Israelite’s; and Jacob’s Ladder to name a few. Read more…

The First and Second Grade class does many things, memorizing the names of the books of the Bible, many of the stories of the Bible, and have a lot of fun while we do it. Read more…

The Third and Fourth Grade Class, through insightful and challenging discussions, we want the children of our class to develop a greater understanding of the Bible. We hope they carry this understanding with them, while using the stories and scripture to make decisions and choices in their life at home, school or in the community. Read more…
