The UMW Miriam Circle meets on the fourth Friday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the Krause Meeting Room at the church.
A dessert luncheon is served, a short business meeting is conducted, and a program presented. Fellowship time follows.
The circle is named after Miriam, the brilliant, courageous, sister of Moses. As a young girl she showed great characteristics of leadership. Miriam was favored by God with the gift of prophecy. She was recognized as the first intellectual woman of the Hebrew race. She heads the roll of a multitude of devout women who have given themselves without measure for the betterment of humanity.
This is what our circle strives to do. Our mission is to help women and children locally and throughout the world through our mission work.
