Union UMC Outreach Committee
The Outreach Committee oversees a variety of programs of the Union UMC:
- Helping with membership by visiting with new members.
- The Parish Nurse visits the hospitalized, educates the congregation, and organizes blood pressure readings during the coffee hour.
Mission:
- Recommends focus of Christmas and Easter offerings.
- Organizes special events, such as the presentation by Janet and Roy Mays, missionaries to Costa Rica. They met with the church’s Junior Missionaries and presented a program about their work.
- Maintains food Pantry open on Mondays and Fridays.
- Franklin Neighborhood.
