Education: Sheri has a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.

Home Life: I am a married homemaker with four sons.

My husband, Wally, works from home as a software security computer consultant.

My oldest son, Matt lives in Belleville with his dog and is an EMT studying to be a paramedic. Adam is in his 4th year of Medical School in Chicago. Andrew is a senior at Loyola University, Chicago. Sam is a Freshman at Belleville East High School.

Even though the boys are older, they still manage to keep me very busy!

Favorite Food/Resturant: Locally, I preferred pizza at Cecil Whitaker's, but they went out of business, so I'm searching for a new favorite.
I also really enjoy the spinach and mushroom enchilada at Carlos O'Kelly's.

Favorite Music/Band: Sheri likes listening to Jazz on WSIE Radio Station, but her favorite performer is Barry Manilow.

Favorite Movie/Book: I don't have a real favorite book, but I like reading light-hearted mysteries. The kind with a little romance thrown in.

My all-time most-favorite movie is 'Gone With The Wind'. I fell in love with Clark Gable when I saw the movie as a freshman in High School.

Favorite Place: I am torn between two places. I have always loved going to the East Coast for vacation and enjoy the beach at Isle of Palm, South Carolina. Plus, I love hiking in the Smokey Mountains around Asheville, North Carolina.

Perfect Day: I would start by sleeping late. Then, the family would be together for an outing in St. Louis. Maybe going to the Art Museum, Science Center, or a Ball Game.
And EVERYONE would get along and HAVE FUN.

Why I Worship At Union: When we moved to the area and started the search for a church, I was drawn to Union by the friendly and open feeling of welcome I received.

The importance of mission work impresses me, but we also don't lose track of the message of Jesus brought to us each week by Pastor Weston's sermon.

Current Service At Union: Member at large of the Administrative Council, member of the Communications Committee, Secretary of Union's United Methodist Women, Chairman of Ruth Circle (quilting group), member of the Seekers Sunday School Class.

Surprise: Sheri learned to play the flute after she graduated from college.
