Union UMC's Drama Ministry

The goals of the Drama Ministry at Union United Methodist Church are to glorify God, to grow closer to Christ through service, to develop and use acting talents given by God to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to share with our congregation the messages and truths we find in God’s Word.

We explore various ways to present the messages—choral reading, readers theatre, monologues, duets, and small ensembles. We have presented dramas for the November Appreciation Dinner, Mother-Daughter Banquet, Maundy Thursday and Christmas, as well as programs for smaller groups within the church.

The Drama Ministry presents acting scenes at the Crosswalk service at 11:15 in the chapel on the third Sunday of each month. Annually The Drama Ministry presents a full length drama for Maundy Thursday.
