Union UMC offers a Confirmation Class for 7th graders and older during the school year.
Classes begin in September and end in May meeting on Sunday mornings from 10:05 - 11:05 a.m.
In Union UMC’s Confirmation Class, students learn about the United Methodist Church and the
Christian theological tradition in order to profess their ultimate faith in Christ.
Units on "How the Bible Came to Be", "Worship and the Sacraments", "Christian History",
"Methodist History and Doctrine" and a study on the Gospel of Mark form
the basis for this 8 month study.
Pastor Holly Wood teaches the class, plans a retreat weekend at Little Grassy Camp for the class,
and takes the class on additional field trips.
